Ingredients

6 sweet apples
1 jar Abinda nut cream
2 tablespoons maple syrup (or rice syrup)                                                       
2 tablespoons margarine
1 tbsp grated coconut
1 tbsp fine oat flakes
2 tbsp chopped roasted hazelnuts or almonds
½ cup apple juice
2 tbsp raisins
Pinch of cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 180°C

preparation

Core the apples and place them in a baking dish.
Make a mixture of the nut cream, maple syrup, 2 tablespoons margarine, the grated coconut and the oats.
With a teaspoon, fill the cavity in the apples with the mixture, press firmly with your fingers to get the mixture to the very bottom.
Cover the apples with the apple juice and sprinkle the raisins on top. At the very end, sprinkle on the cinnamon powder.
Cover the oven dish with a glass lid or foil and place it in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
The apples should be soft, slightly cracked open. But it should not be mush.
Arrange each apple in a bowl or on a plate.  Pour a little juice over and garnish with some chopped hazelnuts or almonds.

The sweetness, texture and baking time of the dessert are highly dependent on the apple variety.
