Cook the rice as directed on the packet. Wash and slice the vegetables.

- Fry the burgers lightly in olive oil on both sides, or place on the BBQ.
- Mix the vegetables carefully through the rice.
- Add a good dash of mild olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Add the melon (cubes or balls).
- Serve with strips of burger and a slice of fennel.
